GetParsing maps inconsistent product pages into a stable schema, including identifiers and timestamps that help downstream teams interpret changes.
Depending on the source, a monitoring feed may contain product name and URL, source identifier, brand, category, current and previous price, discount, promotion details, stock status, seller, location and collection timestamp.
Projects can be configured around selected competitor websites, specific categories, a supplied list of product URLs, your own product catalogue, multiple markets, regional values, marketplace sellers or full assortment monitoring.
Before launch, we agree how products will be selected and matched.
You provide exact competitor product URLs. This is the simplest option when the product list is known and stable.
Products are linked using SKU, EAN, GTIN, MPN, model numbers or another reliable identifier available on the source.
When exact identifiers are unavailable, matching may use brand, model, title, size, colour, package quantity and other attributes. Ambiguous products require a separate quality review.
Common schedules include daily, several times per week, weekly or a custom agreed schedule. Higher-frequency collection is assessed individually.
Monitoring output can be prepared for pricing tools, Power BI, Excel, Google BigQuery, data warehouses, ERP systems, PIM systems and custom internal applications.
Capture regular price, promotional price, discount labels and selected promotion details.
Track online availability, store availability or seller availability when the source displays it.
Identify new products, removed products and category changes.
Track offers from selected marketplace sellers, including price and availability.
Competitor websites change. Product pages are redesigned. Prices move between page elements. Regional values may require location selection. Protection systems may interrupt collection.
We monitor the workflow and maintain it after source changes, instead of leaving your team with an unsupported script.
